A seasonal icon is one of the cheapest ways to get noticed on a home screen. A small hat at Christmas or a lantern for Ramadan tells people the app is alive and paying attention. The hard part has never been the idea. It's drawing a dozen versions that still look like your app, and getting each one into a release before the date.
Seasonal packs do both.
What it does
Pick an icon you already made on Appicons.ai. We keep its character and draw a version for each holiday, shopping day and celebration your users care about: Christmas, Halloween, Diwali, Lunar New Year, Ramadan, Eid, Valentine's Day, Black Friday and more. The library has 43 dates across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Southern-hemisphere users get a summer Christmas instead of a snowy one.
Five steps, one pack
- Start from your icon. Choose the icon your app ships with today.
- Markets and dates. Tick the regions you sell in. We suggest the dates that matter there and you add or remove any.
- Direction. Choose how festive to go: A touch (one small prop), Dressed up (seasonal colours plus a prop) or Full takeover (your mascot inside a seasonal scene). Lock what must not change, such as the character, the shape, your colours or your lettering. Then draw one real sample before you spend credits on the rest.
- Review at 60 px. See every edition at home-screen size, with its dark, tinted and themed versions. Redo or drop any that don't read.
- Ship. We group the icons into app updates and give you a download with everything sorted.

Why the updates matter
On iOS and Android an app can only switch to an icon that's already inside it. So a Diwali icon has to be in a release that's live before Diwali, not uploaded on the day. The pack sorts your dates into a few waves and tells you when each update has to ship. Add schedule.ics to your calendar and the deadlines come to you. The seasonal app icon calendar lists every date with its ship-by day.
Pricing
Each seasonal icon costs 1 credit, the same as any variant. The sample in step 3 is 1 credit, and you only pay for the rest once you like it. Redrawing an edition costs 1 credit. Downloading the pack is always free. Credit packs start at $10, paid once, with no subscription.
Make a seasonal pack from any icon you've made, or make an icon first if you don't have one yet.
